Over the next ten years Lake Norman is really going to explode. Opportunity will abound in all fields and it is very likely that property values have every reason to grow. Here are some of the major hot spots and they don't begin to cover all of it.
Starting at Exit 23 is the development called "Bryton" covering over 450 acres at a cost of a billion dollars. There will be retail, warehouse and up to 2000 homes.
Exit 25 just opened up the new "Northcross Village" with Marshalls, HomeGoods, Staples and PetCo. You should have seen the traffic. Everyone in the area was looking forward to this type of shopping up at the lake.
The new Exit 27 called "The Village at Lake Norman" will have over 800,000 sq.ft. of retail, 400 condo's, a hotel and 500,000 sq. ft. of office space.
Exit 30 has already exploded with "Davidson Commons" There is a new Harris Teeter opening in months, a private school, residential and office space.
The new Exit 32 will be "Langtree at the Lake" with 3 hotels, a golf course, waterfront condo's with an urban feel blended with office's & shops.
Exit 45 will introduce a new mixed use development called “Larkin” covering 900+ acres. Developed by GS Carolina at a cost of over 1 billion, Larkin is slated to contain 1500 Active Adult homes/town homes, residential homes, condos, office and retail space, hotels, wellness center, clubhouse, 300 acres of green space and a central park with amphitheatre and restaurant.
LOCAL NEIGHBORHOODS:
FOX DEN - Fox Den is set among 400 acres of lush, rolling countryside and the gentle waterfalls of Third Creek. The luxurious, but surprisingly affordable homes are built by Saussy Burbank and offer the quality and amenities you expect in such a desirable residential community.
